An old photo of Alsasua’s town square from 1931. The old pelota court was located in the town square, and we can see a pelota match. It was likely a holiday, probably a fair, and we see three pelota players playing amidst a large crowd, with the old kiosk in the background. Turning an old photo into a large mural can be a great artistic medium for preserving the memory and identity of a town.
